Food Rescue at Manufacturing Fest 2026

Garda Pangan served as a sustainability partner for Manufacturing Fest Surabaya, held from 15–18 July 2026 at Grand City Surabaya. As part of the collaboration, Garda Pangan rescued surplus food generated during the event and redistributed it to beneficiaries across Surabaya. The food rescue process was carried out over three consecutive days.

According to Reza Adrianto, a representative of the event organizer, Manufacturing Fest’s collaboration with Garda Pangan aimed to promote a more sustainable Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, both socially and environmentally. This marked the first collaboration between Garda Pangan and Manufacturing Fest, with hopes that the partnership can continue in the years to come.

The food rescue initiative at a manufacturing event also demonstrates that surplus food can arise across a wide range of sectors, extending beyond the hotel, restaurant, and catering industries.
