Garda Pangan once again received recognition through the Leading Community Movement Award at the detikJatim Awards 2024, held at the Dyandra Convention Center, Surabaya, on November 25, 2024.
The award was presented in recognition of Garda Pangan's dedication to rescuing surplus food from being wasted and redistributing it to underserved communities in need.
The detikJatim Awards recognize individuals, community leaders, and businesses that have made a positive impact on society in East Java. The detikJatim Awards 2024 were presented to individuals, communities, government institutions, regional state-owned enterprises (BUMD), and private companies. The award recipients were selected through a series of evaluation stages conducted by the editorial boards of detikcom and detikJatim. Those who received the awards met a number of criteria, particularly in terms of innovation, creativity, inspiration, community impact, and active contributions in their respective fields.
A total of six award categories were presented: Outstanding Development Innovation Program Award, Outstanding Economic Program Award, Outstanding Business Program Award, Leading Community Movement Award, Accelerator of Progress Award, and Outstanding Public Figure Award.
